Pennies For Care for Almost Home Kids

Pennies For Care is charitable program created to help businesses make a big difference for a great charity with little effort. Merchants enrolled in services with Premier Payment Systems can elect to participate in the Pennies For Care program. Merchants can feel good knowing that every credit card transaction processed is helping a good cause!

According to the Nilson Report, in 2009 there were over 50 Billion credit card transactions in the US. If a penny from every transaction processed was donated; in one year donations could total over $500,000,000.00!

How it works

On every transaction processed through your Premier Merchant Account, a penny will be donated to Almost Home Kids. This program will not add to your transaction fees, unless you personally choose to match our contribution with an additional pledge.

If you are not currently a PPS merchant, you can enroll in the program and request a price match. Your rates will stay the same as with your current provider, but PPS will be donating $0.01 of every transaction to Almost Home Kids on your behalf.

A few pennies may seem like a small amount, but it will certainly add up quickly!

Almost Home Kids offers short-term clinical care to children in Illinois who are medically fragile or who may be technology-dependant. Their mission is to enhance the lives of children facing serious and ongoing medical challenges.

Currently the only center of its kind, Almost Home Kids is on a mission to open more locations to help this underserved population. Over 78% of the families served are at or below the poverty level.
